Well, I've only had one proper flight on Qatar so far, and that was on one of their A320s. But they use the same seats as SQ's regional business class, just without the inseat video screens and no video-on-demand. But it was highly impressive, the service has left every other airline I mention on this site in the dust. And this was just on an A320 service - I wonder what the bigger planes are like.
If/When Qatar join Star Alliance, I'll be working heard to choose them as much as I can. I hope they don't go the path of Emirates and forget about how timetables work, or try and cram more people into planes than they were designed for.
