Only had the pleasure of experiencing South African Airways on a flight from Johannesburg to Perth, on one of their A343s. The plane was ex-Lufthansa, but I think more than just the plane was ex-Lufthansa. Seats reclined, but were very high off the floor - not much privacy between seats or between rows, much like the current Lufthansa offering. The food was indifferent, service was actually better than I expected.
